For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), there is no personal data processing for us to control — the App does not collect or transmit personal data. This policy explains that in detail.

Everything you set up in the App is stored locally on your device and never leaves it. Deleting the App removes it all.
To do its job, ZeroSnooze may ask for the following iOS permissions. In every case the data is used on your device, in the moment, and is never stored off-device or sent to us or anyone else.

| Alarms | To schedule alarms and let them ring even when your phone is silenced or in Focus. Required for the App to function. |
| Camera | Only if you choose the barcode dismiss challenge — the camera reads a barcode to confirm you're awake. No photo or video is recorded, stored, or transmitted. |
| Microphone | Only if you record a custom alarm sound. The recording is saved locally on your device and is never uploaded. |
| Motion & Fitness | Only if you choose the steps dismiss challenge — step counts are read to confirm you've walked the required number of steps. This is processed on your device and never leaves it. |
You can decline or later revoke any of these permissions in iOS Settings. Declining a permission simply means the related feature (for example, the barcode or steps challenge) is unavailable.
The App does not collect personal data from anyone, including children. It contains no ads and no external links to data-collecting services.
Because we do not collect or hold any personal data about you, there is no personal data for us to access, correct, delete, or export. If you are in the EU/EEA, the UK, California, or another region with data-protection laws (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar), those rights still apply in principle — but in practice we hold nothing about you to act on. If a future version of the App ever changes how it handles data, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above before that version ships. Continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
